Samuel A Payton violin, Philadelphia 2010 ~ 1742 “Lord Wilton” Guarneri Del Gesu Copy

This Violin has been played in Philadelphia for the last 13 years, we just took this back and couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to find it’s next home.

The top was crafted from spruce that was over 50 years old when the instrument was made, and the back is from a lovely single piece of american slab cut maple.  This single piece american maple back lends to the instruments dark tone and clear strong projection.
