Viola by Christophe Landon, New York, c. 2000 – 16 1/2″
This early copy of a Giovanni Paolo Maggini Viola by Christophe Landon c. 2000 has impressed everyone in our shop. It has spent the last 20 years of its life at the Berlin Philharmonic and is ready to find a new home.
The top is made of over 200 years old spruce, and the back and ribs are of an incredibly figured maple. The workmanship and antiquing have impressed everyone who has seen it. People really can’t believe it is only 20 years old!

Player Experience
Players have remarked that this is everything you could hope for in a viola. The articulation is incredibly fast, and the G and C strings are to die for.
